Previous ack-bundle search results should be accessible after the window is closed
Reported by Ed Ruder | November 24th, 2008 @ 02:22 PM
- Use "Ack in Project" to find a string
- Click on one result in the search results window--result's
window is brought to the front, but the "Ack in Project" window is
still up and accessible via the Window menu or command-
and you can click on other search results
- If you type command-shift-A to bring the search results window up (as you can do with TextMate's "Find in Project"), the search results window comes up with previous results, but isn't scrollable because the ack-bundle dialog is up and active. Closing the dialog results in an error message replacing the contents of the search results window.
- If you close the search results page, then type command-shift-A to bring up "Ack in Project" again, the results window is cleared

Sorry, it's a limitation of how textmate handles external commands.
If I were to rewrite the whole thing as a full-blown textmate plugin I'd have enough control to duplicate some of find-in-project's window handling.
